System Evaluation and Certification Decision
Based upon written evidence of an audit results, PCI decides on the issuance of certificate, i.e. a confirmation of conformity to the requirements of selected standard(s) to client. To do so, technically proficient, legally appointed experts i.e. technical reviewers (can either be a person or a group) are assigned, who shall always be independent of all parties involved in the audit process (i.e. not participate in the audit).
